Fragrant Hill Hotel, the conference venue, is about 60 minutes drive from the airport and 20km from the city center. It is by XiWuHuan Beilu, northwest of Beijing, making it convenient to drive to.

Travel Route

The followings are bus and subway routes recommended for local participants to travel to Fragrant Hill Hotel.  As the taxi fare in Beijing is very inexpensive, we recommend those participants who do not speak nor read Chinese to a taxi to where you wish to go.  Direction card can be obtained from the conference office.

乘坐出租车：

北京出租车汽车的计价方式

1. 在首都机场运营的出租车汽车运营价格为2.0元/公里。
2. 计价方式：2.0元/公里的出租车行驶3公里内10元，计价，行驶15公里以后，每公里加收50％的空驶费。

乘坐出租车应注意的事项

1. 在您所乘坐的出租车，车窗两侧应贴有收费标准收费办法，和出租车汽车驾驶员服务监督卡，敬请您记住。
2. 您在乘坐出租车中，过路费，过桥费由您负担。
3. 下车时敬请您向司机索要发票，需要时可记住所乘坐出租车的车牌号。
4. 在首都机场乘车时，请您到出租车站乘坐正规的出租车，下车时请您携带好随身物品。

PS:  在上面从不同车站到香山饭店的路线中, 我们已经给出了具体的公里数, 您可以参考该距离来计算乘坐出租车去香山的花费 (堵车的情况下可能会超出估计费用)。

For foreign participants:

Optional travel routes from Capital International Airport to Fragrant Hill Hotel:

1.  Take a taxi and go directly to the hotel.
Cost: about 150RMB (US$20).

2.  Take an airport bus at the arrival level (Airport Bus Line Five) from the Capital International Airport to Zhong Guan Cun, get off at the terminus and then take a taxi to Fragrant Hill Hotel.
Cost: Bus fare(16RMB) + taxi fare (about 50RMB) = 66RMB (less than US$10)

PS： If you meet a traffic jam, it may cost you more than the estimated amount for taxi fare.  Therefore, it is better to send us your itinerary before leaving for the meeting.  We shall give you as much tips on traveling from the airport to the hotel.

We advise you to print this card in advance and take it with you.  You may show it to the taxi driver after you arrived.
