Travel Award Application
Deadline for Travel Award application is March 1, 2008

The 2008 Third ISN Special Neurochemistry Conference - 8th International Meeting for Brain Energy Metabolism will provide travel grants that primarily intend to assist young scientists at the age below 35 years old and from all over the world to attend this meeting.  Successful applicants will be informed through email by the end of March, 2008.

Both students and post-doct fellows are eligible to apply for the travel award. Travel Award will be enough to cover your registration fee, room and board, and a small part of your travel expense.  Travel Award payments will be presented to you ONLY AT THE END OF THE CONFERENCE on July 1, 2008.

To be eligible for the Travel Award, applicants must:

1. Register for the meeting (for registration, please see
   http://www.isnbeijing2008.org/registrationweb080109.html ).
2. Submit an abstract for poster presentation (for information, please see http://www.isnbeijing2008.org/ ).
3. Please download and complete the travel award application form, and send back to conference office through secretariat@isnbeijing2008.org.  Please indicate clearly that the title of email is [travel award application.applicant’s name].
4. Two letters of recommendation are required from senior scientists who are familiar with the applicant’s research.  The recommendation letter must be sent from referees’ mailbox to secretariat@isnbeijing2008.org.  Please make sure the title of emails is [letter of recommendation.referee’s name].
